EARS - The strangest Amateur radio society in all the land. For which all the blame should be placed fairly on the shoulders of one (Sir) Martin Sweeting (PhD)(OBE)(FEng)(50p)(etc). Pictured here on top of Tillingbourne house (Surrey Court) the site of the new shack (1972), having previously only had a dark corner of 9AC22. Hence the expression "EARS have walls".
