The University of Surrey Alumni Society
Local Group
Meetings
It's a sort of mini-reunion for whoever turns
up (, normally about a dozen people) and a chance to discuss future events,
with the Alumni Society staff and members. Jane's arranged with
Wetherspoons that we have some tables reserved upstairs in their Guildford
branch (which is at the bottom of Guildford, opposite the Friary shopping
centre), on the first Monday of every month between 6pm and 9pm (apart from
Bank Holidays).
Surrey
Graduates Email Group If you have an email address, you
can now 'talk' to other Surrey graduates worldwide by joining this new
electronic discussion group. To subscribe to the list, address your email
to: listproc@surrey.ac.uk and in the space for the message type:
subscribe uosgrads (then your real name). Please ensure you leave a space
between the word 'uosgrads' and your real name. You will be sent a
message confirming that you have been added to the list. After receiving this
confirmation, you may post messages to the list by sending mail to
uosgrads@surrey.ac.uk. When you send mail, please add a brief signature with
your name and email address so that anyone who wishes can reply to you
personally rather than through the group. Please become an active participant
and help us to make this an informed and entertaining forum.
